Top 10 Things I can’t Live Without

  1. God: Number one person in my life! He has never failed me, and I thank Him for all that He does. He is who I get my strength from, where I get my kindness from, who keeps me humble, who has brought me through pain and healing, and so much more.
  2. Family: My family is my life, especially my parents and siblings. They have pushed me and that is why I am such an independent and hard-working woman.
  3. Friends: My small circle of friends have helped me through so much. They truly have no idea how much they’ve helped me get to where I am today.
  4. My boyfriend and his family: I’ve known my boyfriend since we were kids. His parents have always been the sweetest to me for all these years. I cannot even describe how much they have done for me. I love them all so much, including his grandparents and brothers as well. Such amazing individuals.
  5. My blog page: Having this blog has given me the opportunity to share my life with you all and realize who truly supports me. I always have thoughts about this becoming one of my jobs eventually.
  6. Music: Imagine the world without music guys? (Um yeah I could not)
  7. The main essentials: Food, clothes, etc. (so obviously more than 10 things I can’t live without)
  8. MY HAIR PRODUCTS: Sorry I need these
  9. Love: We all want to be loved. This doesn’t just mean being loved by a boyfriend or girlfriend. This means feeling real genuine love from friends and family too.
  10. Oh duh my phone: This is a must come on now, I have to interact with all of my people and post about my blog page.

Determination… Satisfaction

I love this quote so much because this is the mindset that I’ve been trying to have lately. Sometimes we may not feel like getting out of bed, but it’s a must. We have classes to go to, work, or have to run some errands. Of course while this quarantine is going on, we might want to just lay down all day since there isn’t much we can do. I encourage you guys to get up out of bed and get productive still! I’ve been getting so much done because I get up, pray and just do what I have to do without thinking about it. That has honestly helped me tremendously! Though my mind races constantly, I still manage to get a lot done. I have certainly been going to bed satisfied. Don’t get me wrong, some days I just don’t feel like being productive during this quarantine, and don’t get enough done, well at least that’s what I think. Then by the evening when I lay down, I begin to regret not having a busy day. I know it’s hard to adjust with everything going on, but remember nothing is impossible! We really got this.

Stop being a Hater

I’ve seen a lot of people just hating each other. You have women talking down on each other and even men talking down each other. It’s so sad to see it all over social media because sometimes I wish people would just grow up. Yeah I said it, grow up. A lot of individuals claim to be adults or grown, yet still have an immature mindset. What happened to communicating to each other when things go left? People rather talk down on someone’s name than communicating about the problem. We have to really do better. Stop hating on a female and then go smile in her face in person. This goes for the guys too. Hate and fake love is not how it should be. If this has offended you in any way, take a moment to think about your actions. We should be coming together and realizing that this world is not doing good at all, but instead I see people arguing over petty situations. We should be spreading more love. I don’t normally post about this, but there’s a point where you just get tired of seeing the same things. Speaking positive or showing REAL love can do so much for our community. You can brighten someone’s day just by a kind compliment or just from checking on them. Being a hater truly seems so draining. If you know someone who gives off negative vibes or is constantly bashing someone, simply just speak to them about it. It’s 2020 guys, it is time to start getting to the point and being honest. With that being said, I really hope you all are spreading love. You already know it’s always positive energy and blessings on this side. Love you blog fam!

The Mind that Races

Every day my mind tends to race. I cannot stop thinking as much as I try to relax. I am so focused on my plans and goals that I seem to not know how to chill. Lately I have been trying to meditate to clear my mind, but it can be difficult. A few times I was able to sit and meditate, but most of the time I am constantly thinking. As many know, success is my biggest goal. There are moments where I just feel stuck, then there are moments where I get this huge boost of energy where I just want to put in so much work. I am learning to become consistent with a lot of things. “Consistency is key” is not just something people say. It is a REAL thing. Being consistent can do so much for us! Sometimes I have so many goals that I want to achieve at once, that I become overwhelmed and feel so low. I have to learn to take one step at a time and breathe. I will be more consistent with every thing if I am not all over the place. For example, I have not been consistent with my blog posts because I am jumping from one thing to another and not finding the time to plan better. I was actually telling a friend yesterday that I always give people advice to not be too hard on themselves, yet I struggle to do that myself. I seem to forget that I need to relax so I can see clearly on where God is trying to lead me. As I am typing this right now, I am thinking of my goals or what I am about to do next. It truly never stops, and it is honestly a blessing and a curse that my mindset is like this. If you’re like me, we will make it. We WILL learn to stop for a second and stop being all over the place. We will accomplish the goals we have set one step at a time!

Fighting through

I thought I’d share this because I don’t know about you guys, but I have been so tired lately. I wake up in the middle of the night a lot and it becomes difficult for me to wake up in the morning. Yes it’s difficult, but I always make sure to thank God for each day that I wake. I know this Coronavirus situation has been stressful for many. I have had mixed emotions about it truthfully. It has made me appreciate life more because sometimes we complain about having the same routine everyday, but that was better than this. I also haven’t been worrying too much about it because I have strong faith in God. I’ve been praying for everyone who got the virus and I’ve been praying for the people who are struggling because schools are shutdown and some jobs are closed. We will get through it all though, keep fighting and praying! I know 2020 hasn’t been the best, but sometimes we just can’t control certain situations. Sending love, blessings, and positive energy always.

What’s going on?

Hey everyone. How’s everything? For me, everything has been quite busy and tough. Life has been throwing a lot at me. I haven’t been wanting to blog truthfully. I’ve just been on twitter tweeting and sort of doing my own thing; trying to figure life out. Still praising God, still with my man, still healthy but just been trying to have a clear mind. Last Saturday I just lost my Grandfather, so that was very tough. I then got sick and following that, I’ve been having some stomach issues. Not really sure what has been going on, could be all the medicine I took. It’s starting to feel a little better though. I was just tweeting and realized that I haven’t been blogging lately and I told myself I really need to get it together. On the bright side, I passed my minimester college algebra class. Another step closer to getting my AA this year. I have a lot of plans in store and can’t wait to achieve some more goals, God willing! Hope all has been well with you guys. I know it sucks when I’m consistent on here and then I go ghost. Still have a lot I’m figuring out, but that’s no excuse. Spring break is coming up, so I’ll have more time. I need to sit down and actually write down what I need to do in order to keep this going. If you really want something, you’ll always find a way. I clearly haven’t been acting like I really want this blogging page to take off. This is supposed to be something I’m passionate about, but there has been lack of effort for sure. I know I got this though and I’ll forever try to keep positive. Love ya blog fam!
