Do you ever sit and wish that you could physically see God and sit next to him and ask him questions? Sometimes when I am praying I pause for a second and wonder where it is that he is taking me. Walking with Christ is so peaceful, yet such a roller coaster as well. One minute you have an understanding on the path he is taking you and then another minute he throws a curve ball. You then feel like you are back at square 1. One thing about those curve balls is that they are NEEDED. Those curve balls teach me so much. They teach me to remain patient, humble, to continue to have faith, etc. even when it is soooo hard. It’s like even when he puts me through a storm I trust him. I may cry and feel frustrated, but I continue to trust him.
We all have these goals/plans and it may get exhausting when they are not working out how we thought. Either it is not our time yet, or he does not want that for us. I constantly think about that when certain plans go left. I feel down about it, but then I realize that it is not in my control. I am where I’m supposed to be right now. I have to acknowledge the small accomplishments and keep working hard to get to the next season that he wants me to be in.
